How long are the kayak tours?

Guided trips on the Shenandoah River last approximately 2-3 hours. Actual duration depends on the river's current and the group's preferred pace.

What are the age restrictions?

Minimum age to ride along is 5. For the youth kayak we recommend for ages 8-11 (see size restriction). For the solo kayak we recommend ages 12+. For the tandem kayak we require at least one adult.

What should I bring and wear?

We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, a hat, and wearing clothes that can get wet. On your feet wear water shoes, sneakers you don't mind getting wet, or sandals with heel straps. No flips-flops or bare feet.

What gear is included?

We provide everything you need: high-quality kayaks (youth, solo, and tandem options), premium paddles, and comfortable life vests (PFDs) for all sizes and weights.
